Our Diocese's Office of Vocations “Called by Name” initiative will begin on the first day of our Vocations Awareness Week, which starts this Monday, October 26. This initiative will end on Tuesday, December 8, on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

This Office of Vocations program invites men and women and encourages parishioners to identify and recommend faithful individuals who may have a calling to serve the People of God in the Priesthood, the Deaconate, or Consecrated Life.

A few key details about “Called by Name” within our Diocese includes:
• Purpose: To invite men and women to consider a Vocation.
• Support: The program includes a nomination and outreach process.
• Submission: Nominations can be made by filling out the card at our doors or going to our Office of Vocations webpage.
• Context: This initiative is part of a broader effort to foster a culture of Vocations.

There are envelopes for your donations for All Souls’ Day at the exits of the church. There is space on the envelopes for you to write the names of your deceased loved ones. The names will be left on the altar throughout November. Please put the envelopes in the collection or drop them by the office so that we may make up the prayer list.
