About 50 years ago, Pope Paul VI announced the formation of our Memphis Diocese with the actual ordination of our Diocese taking place on January 6, 1971, which will be another great day of celebration.
The theme for our 50th Anniversary is That All May Be One. What an excellent theme to go along with the theme ¡Adelante! Going forward together, on mission coming out of our recent Priest Convocation. We are truly uniting as one church, one family working together to strength our faith, evangelize the gospel and grow our Diocese. There will be year-long 50th Anniversary celebration of our Catholic Diocese of Memphis.

Catholic Mass on one of many local channels (view
list of channels) or watch online at
www.HeartoftheNation.org. Past Sunday Masses are also available as well as many other great Catholic resources online.
For those who can get to church, the TV or online liturgy does not fulfill the Sunday Mass obligation!

The U.S. bishops invite the faithful to join a movement of prayer and sacrifice for the protection of life, marriage, and religious liberty in our country. Serious threats to each of these have raised unprecedented challenges to the Church and the nation. When confronted with challenges, our Lord calls us to sacrifice and pray. Learn more about how you can answer the Call.
